Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a man who breached a barrier and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains videos of him disrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user remarked.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while others demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Response and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings carried on uninterrupted.
